    NASYA OIL

    In Ayurvedic tradition the nose is considered  a doorway to consciousness. It is the entrance for prana, the vital life force, which comes into the body through the breath. Healthy, uncongested breathing ensures proper flow of prana throughout the head and body. Nasya oil Has been used for hundred of years as a self care for sinus pressure, to clear breathing and encourage detoxification which all leads to better health and calm, deep breathing.

    How to use:

    Take a few deep breaths and relax. Standing or lying down tilt your head back and drop 3-5 drops in your nostrils. You can also add few drops of oil to both sides of your nose and massage gently.  It is recommended to take nasya oil in the morning and before going to bed. You can also take it before shower.

    Ingredients:

    This nasya oil is made by using the traditional sesame seed oil that have been soaked in herbs. Sesame seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties and has a warming, soft quality to it making it ideal for use in nasya therapy. Sesame seed oil used in this formula is organic and not roasted.

    Other ingredients include Brahmi (helps with internal swelling and elimination of toxins), Cardamom( know for its detoxifying, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities),  saffron (helps to decrease swelling, St. John’s herb (known for treating infections), nutmeg (helps to increase immune system functions and improve blood circulation), yarrow and calendula (fight infection and inflammation), castor oil.
